Wooden Salad Bowl

Our large wooden salad bowl is a contemporary version of the traditional wooden salad bowl. We make it from acacia wood and give it a cherry wood finish. As well as being a versatile salad bowl, it can also be a kitchen decoration if filled with in-season fruit. Of course wooden bowls can be used to hold foods other than salads. Warm dishes like pasta or even soup also look fantastic when presented and served in a wooden bowl. Some people fill them with cereals and snacks. Filled with fruit they do become a fantastic kitchen table or sideboard decoration. So these salad bowls can be as eye-catching as they are functional.

Because this bowl is made of natural wood should not be put in a dishwasher, microwave, freezer or oven. Hand washing in warm soapy water then rinsing and drying with dry cloth is the correct method to clean a wooden bowl. A quality wooden bowl will last a long time if looked after correctly and will contribute to decades of great salads. What a good wedding present idea.
