Large Round Tortoiseshell Place Mats

These Large Tortoiseshell Placemats are a striking way to elevate everyday dining. Handmade and finished in Henry Forwood’s exclusive faux tortoiseshell finish, this set of four placemats captures the rich depth and character of traditional tortoiseshell while offering a completely eco-friendly alternative. Their generous 32cm diameter provides ample space for dinner plates, cutlery and glassware, making them ideal for both casual dining and elegant entertaining.

Inspired by one of history’s most sought-after decorative finishes, Henry Forwood’s highly realistic tortoiseshell effect combines warm amber, honey and deep brown tones to create a timeless look that complements both classic and contemporary interiors. Each placemat is individually handcrafted, making every set a truly original piece.

Designed for stylish homes and discerning interior designers, these luxury placemats feature a durable waterproof surface that protects your table while adding warmth, texture and sophistication. Simply wipe clean with a damp cloth and buff dry to maintain their beautiful finish.

Pair them with pieces from our Tortoiseshell Collection or explore our complete Dining & Tabletop Collection to create a coordinated tablescape.
