Black Photo Frames

Discover black photo frames by Henry Forwood, designed to give favourite photographs a distinctive setting. The Bella design combines Caviar Black faux shagreen with polished stainless steel trim and a walnut wood back. Its dark, textured border contrasts with the bright metal surrounding your picture.

Henry specialises in high quality home accessories. An alchemist of decorative materials, he developed a unique method of recreating shagreen’s fine, pebbled appearance without using ray skin. The result brings subtle surface detail to a classic rectangular frame.

Each black photo frame is handcrafted by artisans and available for 8 × 10 inch or 7 × 5 inch photographs. Both sizes allow portrait or landscape display, making it easy to arrange family portraits, wedding photographs or holiday memories.

Place a single frame on a desk or bedside table, or group the two sizes on a console or bookshelf. Black complements monochrome photography while giving colourful images a clear visual border. The walnut back adds a warm natural contrast when viewed from behind.

Presented in a signature Forwood Design gift box, a Bella frame makes a thoughtful birthday, wedding or christening present. Add a meaningful photograph to make the gift personal.

Pair your frames with the matching Caviar Black Backgammon Board for a coordinated arrangement that brings texture and detail to your living room or study.
