Craftsmen and artists have also been creating faux malachite products for centuries to recreate luxury of the real stone. For example the traditional method to do this is by painting malachite like swirls in different shades of green. Eventually a few very ago I worked out a method of creating a really realistic faux malachite using photography. As you can see from these coasters, the results are amazing.
