I’ve known and worked with Kate (Founder of Cochine) for many years. She has always selected Forwood Design products in her chosen shade to style with her luxury Cochine range – a pairing that beautifully accentuates both of our designs. So, when the opportunity came for a co-branded collaboration, it was an easy yes! Kate first approached me with the idea to pair a bespoke matchbox holder with her exclusive Christmas candle. I enjoyed twisting my original Forwood Design bold orange hue which involved sanding the faux shagreen skin down. This created a timeless burnt orange colour blend that perfectly matched Kate’s Orange Amere and Star Anise scent. I also thoroughly enjoyed this collaboration, and ultimately, I believe the marriage of Kate’s creative concepts and my alchemy has born an elegant must-have match that harmonises and echoes both of our styles!
