Our beautiful Artisan white serving bowl is a hosting essential. It is a wonderful centrepiece for serving all kinds of foods, from salads and spaghetti to all vegetable types. We have designed the bowl quite large, so it is big enough to toss a salad or hold a fair amount of boiled new potatoes.
Every serving bowl is individually hand thrown by the British potter and craftsman Paul Mossman using traditional methods. This ensures each bowl is unique, giving you a truly authentic and artisan product. We chose the colour Artisan White as it has an organic mottled quality that only comes with being handmade. Because we love Paul’s work, we have asked him to sign each piece. Other pieces in this collection include our Artisan white serving platter and water jug. We think the unique collection works well with our Rachel Winham ‘Dune’ placemats and barley napkin rings.
The raw clay for the Artisan white serving bowl is fired at a temperature of 1,260 degrees. This makes the serving bowl: oven, freezer, dishwasher, AGA cooker and microwave safe, making cleaning up after a gathering easier than ever! The bowl will of course display both hot & cold foods and all the glazes are lead free.
