Our gorgeous Artisan white serving platter is ideal for entertaining. It is a fabulous centrepiece for serving all food types, from charcuterie and cheese to quiches and canapés. Every platter is individually hand thrown by the British potter and craftsman Paul Mossman using traditional methods. This means there will be quirky variances between each platter. We chose the colour Artisan White as it has a wonderful mottled quality that only comes with being handmade. Because we love Paul’s work, we have asked him to sign each piece. Other pieces in this collection include our Artisan White salad bowl / serving bowl and water Jug.
We think this exclusive collection works well with our Otis barley placemats and napkin rings. The raw clay for the Artisan white platter is fired at a temperature of 1,260 degrees. This makes the serving platter: oven, freezer, dishwasher, AGA cooker and microwave safe. This ensures cleaning up after a gathering is easier than ever! The platter will of course display both hot & cold foods. All the glazes are also lead free.
